At the production engineering stage, designers and engineers work hand-in-hand to determine the manufacturing resources required. ULTE and its subsidiaries’ competencies are not only in the mass production of products, but also allow a flexible approach to small and medium-sized production batches using its modular manufacturing system. While designers have a sound understanding of the technologies and techniques appropriate to the product, production engineers have in-depth knowledge of the factory’s assembly capacity and efficient workflow planning. The production process must also be subjected to continuous evaluation and appraisals, as part of the quality improvement and cost reduction road maps.
